While there are no home remedies which can restore fertility, there is some advice that can be found here, at http://www.babycenter.com/ . They actually have an entire section devoted to women getting pregnant in their 40s, and women share their stories. I would see a doctor ASAP, for a pre-conception check-up. Many, many women can get pregnant in their 40s, but every woman is different.
Studies show that as early as age 25, your fertility window begins to shrink. However, the older you get, the better equipped you are mentally and financially to raise and care for a child. I wish you the best of luck!
its different for every one but every lady should not be able to get pregnant gurranteed by 60 depends on who you are
Not impossible, but not easy.

My mom got pregnant around 40 or 41 so i know it can happen
Some women are still very fertile at 42. Others are not. If you have infrequent periods, or have been trying for a while, you will want to see a doctor ASAP. The longer you wait, the less the chance of success.
There are no home remedies that will make much difference.
Difficult but not impossible. I don’t know of any natural remedies but speak to the doctor. If after 6 months of trying you’re still not pregnant you may need hormones.
My mom had me naturally when she was 42. So don’t listen to everyone’s ideas. There is no exact age where it becomes impossible.
I think that as long as you have your period you can have a baby. Ask your doctor
There aren’t any difficulties in getting pregnant but there may be some difficulties in carrying the baby.
yes there is theres Lot of stuff that can happen in the pregnancy and they due time OK so you should not get pregnant at 42.
No, you can usely get pregnant up to the age of 60. if you have worries then maybe you should go to your local hospital for a check up.
good luck but not easy
not any natural ways i have heard of but i have heard of fertility drugs and fetility centres but i am not sure if there are any natural ways to boost your fertility rate at your age so yeah i think that mabye you should see your doctor for more info.
There are lots of women at 40 that are getting pregnant. Just look at all of the celebrities, most of them are almost 50! when I was trying to get pregnant my periods were not normal also, I would skip a couple months before I got them. As for home remedies I don’t know anything of hand to help. Talk to your doctor.
My advice is to ask your doctor. But of course, as a woman ages, she gets closer to menopause, so it gets harder and harder for her body to get pregnant. Not to mention that if she does get pregnant at a later age, it can be a difficult pregnancy. And if your periods are irregular, it will be even more difficult to conceive. But talk to your doctor, they will be able to talk to you about your options.
Yeah, your chances pretty much start slimming down when your 35yrs. If you do get pregnant they will have to test you for alot of complications and your baby will have a higher risk of developing down syndrome.
It is possible but there is a bigger possibility that your child might not be healthy. If you are not able to get pregnant, adopt a child, there are many children out there who dreams and have hopes of having a parent.
Being 42 you will find difficulties in conceiving and being with child however it’s not impossible. You can always try on your own for a while, but don’t be surprised if your doc suggests some fertile treatment to help push you along your way. But fertile treatments aren’t always invetro or similar processes, there are medications out there that help with ovulation and and periods. There are ovulation estimators supplied at your local grocers that can help. Have a lot of sex. That’s the best home rememdy. Good luck on conceiving.
well it all depends on your cycle i would go and get some herbs first and give them a try or go to the docs and ask for advice i’m 36 and pregnant took me and my fiancee a very long time over 3 years but been worth the wait i lost a baby last year but i’m now 20 weeks and loving it feel very well in myself good luck hope you get what you want.
I guess it is different for different people. My mom had my sister at age 47, and the baby was perfectly healthy. It was really hard for her to have a baby though. There are many options if you want to have a baby. There is invitro (not sure about how to spell that), and other options also. You should talk to your doctor. If nothing else works, there is always adoption.
My mother had three kids after forty! One at forty and two at 45. So, yes, it is totally possible.
But, then again, my mom seems to be the most fertile person in the world.
wish she could have passed that on to me, though.
Don’t worry, I am sure it will happen for you. However, I will tell you that there are a lot of risks having a baby at that age. My brothers came out fine, but my mom had to have an amnio (think thats how it is spelled) to make sure everything was okay.
Good Luck!
your chances are alot lower over age of 35 but its not impossible
It is very possible for you to get pregnant at 42. Why don’t you quickly see a gyna who can recommend ways for you to go about it.I would not suggest trying on your own for some time because that is not what we have now.
I’ve seen people get preggy at 42, so yours will not be different my dear.
Good luck!
At that age it is much more difficult but not impossible. The best thing to do is this
When you begin to ovulate, the best way to tell is by your CM (cervical mucous) right before you ovulate, maybe a couple days before, you will get really wet, like egg white. When this happens, try having sex. That way its before you ovulate and the sperm is already waiting for the egg when it drops.
sperm lives 3-5 days inside you
it takes sperm about 7 hrs to reach the egg
eggs live about 12-24 hrs
if you have sex before, then the sperm will be waitin for the egg already, if you wait the day of or after you might miss you chance. Still have sex those days but before ovulation is better (a day or two)
You: Eat healthy, exercise but don’t over due it, take a multivitamin and a vitamin C everyday, drink lots of water because it helps your cervical mucous keep the sperm alive longer.Stay away from citrus foods, they make your cervical mucous harder for sperm to live in.
Him: Same as yours but tell him to take a zinc vitamin. Zinc makes ‘super sperm’, it will make his count much much higher and keep the sperm healthier so they live longer and stronger.
Your body has to be ready and healthy to carry a healthy baby, so the healthier you two are the better the chances of conceiving!
Also if you do get pregnant, you have a higher chance of conceiving twins. Older woman have a higher chance then younger women, especially if they run in your family and you are a bit overweight.
I did alot of research concerning conceiving and age and more. Good luck with the baby making!
my mom had 11 kids, her first at age 22 and I was her last at 47. And she has never been on birth control. And she’s Mexican so we tend to be EXTREMELY fertile.
anyway, good luck with that!! ::baby dust::
