I was wondering if the FSA (flexible spending account) can be used at at cryogen laboratory (sperm bank) and for IUI treatments? In order to have my insurance company cover the cost they say that the infertility must be certified by a doctor as medically necessary. What exactly does that mean. I thought that medically necessary meant having to do with a matter of life and death.
